When are we being the church?

When we’re gathered around the story and song and meal of our community-in-unity God, revealed in the radical love of Jesus Christ.

When we’re diverse people doing life together, laughing and mourning together, making beautiful and truthful art with our shared life.

When we’re participating in God’s mission of restoring all creation, growing and giving so Austin and the world might look a little more like heaven.

We believe we can’t do it alone. We need each other if we might better love God, our neighbors, ourselves.

We need a community that’s inviting, becoming, and demonstrating God’s love in Christ in ways we can see and touch and taste and feel.

That’s who we want to be. We may be messy and imperfect, but we’re on the way together.
