All are invited to a movement and a story

Welcome! Servant Church is a new faith community forming in central-east Austin in partnership with existing United Methodist churches in the area. We’re students, artists, social workers, teachers, musicians, and retail, government, and hospitality workers. We come together because God has graciously invited us all into the self-giving community life that God lives. We come together so that we can grow in “inviting, becoming, demonstrating” faith, hope, and love. We want not only to be a new church, but a movement of people revisiting what it means to be the church.

So when are we being the church? Learn more here.

We’d love for you to come along with us, because we believe you and every person has something to add to this movement and this story.

“We are people who have come together to share our poverty, our hopes, our aspirations, and our desires to grow in the Spirit.” — Jean Vanier
